Mornin' Tony!

Seems we're back to more seasonal temps today after yesterday's record breaking heatwave of near 90 degrees! The plants and foliage our way are looking as confused as the rest of us! LOL's! Nevertheless, hubby and I made the most of it by grilling up a storm in late afternoon to supply us for the remainder of the week. Guess we'll have to reminisce about that yummy grilled taste for perhaps another month or so, as it appears more normal temps plan to hang around for awhile.

Hope you and yours get to experience another fine spring-filled day on the Prairie!

Hi, Tony,

Interesting tidbit in the history this morning - President Truman seizing the steel mills in 1952. I was only six, and don't remember much outside my little world, but I do remember the "big people" talking about that, and the feeling of anxiety. My dad was an industrial engineer for Maytag and was always in the middle of labor/management negotiations, so it would have been a huge topic in our house.

Have a great day - we've cooled off with a front, but the wind will lay soon and it ought to be pretty nice.

Good morning TONY. Lots of rain here in SW Ontario. Had some interesting storms go through yesterday and last night. Lots of lightening and heavy rains at times. Still raining today and hoping it will dry up tomorrow. Ground is well soaked now.

Have a great day dear one. Keep up the good work.
