It's the time of year that various cable channels (usually Turner Classics) and news shows bid good bye to well known people (and some not so well known) that passed during the year.
I thought that I'd say 'Good bye' to a few famous and/or influential folks that I think were special.
A special hand over the heart for Charles Durning, Daniel Inouye, Jimmie Begay and Keith Little for their sacrifice and service during WWII. Along with any others on my list that served and all tht passed this year, famous or not.
Just in: Retired General Norman 'Stormin' Norman' Schwarzkopf passed away today, Dec.27th.
Without further ado, here is the rest of my list:
Frank Beardsley - his second wife's book about their family was the inspiration for the 1968 movie, Yours, Mine and Ours, starring Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda. They were the Dugger family of their day.
I know this is just a fraction of the famous (or not so famous) folks that passed this year but they're ones I find interesting. You can comment on these or add in others that you will miss.
If you want to browse a truly comprehensive list, there's one on Wiki: Deaths in 2012.
