It sure was more tranquil this morning than just 24 hours ago. The strong storms that rolled through Dothan yesterday between 10 and 11 were responsible for a lightning strike at the gas station in my neighborhood. It damaged their computer systems which shut down their gas pumps for several hours. We were fortunate that the storms didn't reach "severe" status and cause a lot of damage. Today, other than a slight possibility of a few light showers this afternoon and tonight, it should be nice through the rest of the week and weekend. Can you believe temps will drop to the low 40's tonight? The good news, though, is that those temps will rebound rather quickly, and we could be back into the low 80's by Friday. What a difference a day makes.
