More Snow Through Tonight And Again For Thanksgiving Day

By: musicman626 , 9:48 PM GMT on November 22, 2010

A winter weather advisory and a winter storm warning are in effect for the northern-half of the state through Monday night. One to three inches of snow is possible in the region. The snow will come to an end by around 9 pm tonight.

High pressure will return briefly for Monday late into Tuesday before another storm-system arrives for Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day. A winter storm watch is in effect for Wednesday into Thursday for snow and blowing snow along with the possibility of some freezing drizzle. Right now it looks like the northern-half of the state will received the bulk of the system, but the track could certainly change. Stay with KSAX-TV for changing weather conditions.

For the latest road conditions you may call 511 to reach the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Slow down and allow yourself some extra time to get to your destination safely.
