20:20, 69f. been in 60's all day. east to south winds, 10-20 knts. raining on and off, some rain heavy. major high tide at CK in late afternoon. starting to flood lowlying roads.
farm just got 1". ditches and woods full again. deer in sheep pasture. lamb born wednesday. got lost in armadillo hole. pup found him. was born early. eyes just opening. spunky little fellow. mom and lamb boxed in by hay bales to restrict wandering.
suwanee river flooding. friend in white springs has river under her house tonight. she and local friends dug up her flower garden, potted all, and moved it to her porch, 15 ft. above the river. says some neighbors using boats to reach their houses. all hoping water won't top their septic systems... life on a floodplain ain't easy sometimes. beautiful, though.
overcast. no waning moon in sight but then not due up until later in the evening. no stars. guardian barking down the lane. good night, river..
