07:20, 44f, clear. wolf light. roosters crowing. house was 70 yesterday, dropped down to 64 this morning. brief walk with pup. guardian checking out yard. all quiet down by sheep barn.
10:00, blow-out tide rising at CK. north wind, 8 knts. 49f. cormorants at the oyster bar. blue heron fishing off a peat bank. white pelicans off to the east.
mended big seine past 2nd turn. about 50 ft. more to go. pleasant out with a jacket on. NW breeze but sunny. cat kept me company.
16:20, mid tide at #4 bridge. NW wind, 10 knts. 59f. sunny. pelicans and cormorants at oyster bar. great egret in marsh.
18:40, 56f, orange sun going down. hay to all. got 3 eggs. pleasant walk with pup and guardian. sawed some branches for tonight's fire. need to find more small pieces of lighter. just have big knots that are too flammable for the old fireplace. did get some splinters cleaved off that got things going. pup and cat sitting in front of fireplace. waxing gibbous moon bright up in the evening sky.
