06:30, 30f. frost on the fields. a mist. hay to all herbivores. lamb got half bottle. waning full moon sinking to the west through the donkey woodlot.
08:30, 36, sun's up and melting frost. fed chickens and parrot. pleasant walk with guardian and pup on south edge of cactus field. ventured out into it by myself. fair amount of pine seedlings starting up. loblollys planted last year holding their own. it's a rough environment - dry, hot, full of prickly pears.
10:50, blow-out tide rising at CK. 52, south wind, 12 knts. begin mending 3rd 600 ft. seine. oil change in truck. wind picked up in afternoon, SSW 14 knts. got chilly. cat sitting in sun.
16:20, high tide at #4 bridge. gulls and cormorants on the tide. a few brown pelicans. heading to hay-guy's for some hay.
17:10, 54. unload hay. looks decent. chores. bottle to lamb. guardian sneaks into donkey field. damn dog. now she'll do the perimeter on her time..
20:10, 52F. waning full moon in the east. partly cloudy. guardian comes to horse barn gate, wants in yard. dogs get fed. short walk with pup. fire in fireplace. good night fire.
