07:05, 68F, mostly cloudy. overslept. roosters crowing. lack-luster pink and gold sunrise. down the lane with the pup. guardian comes into the yard. no time for wrestling. hay to herbivores. chickens have to wait until later. muffin for breakfast. hot cup of coffee.
08:50, high tide at CK. gulls and kingfisher on wires over bridge. NE wind, 12 knts. 74F. partly cloudy. a light chop. church was good. lesson on treasuring the wrong thing ..
12:00, high tide at #3 bridge, white pelicans on a flooded shell bar. NE wind, 10 knts. 73F, a light chop. fed cat.
wild turkeys in cow pasture off 345 - a big fat tom with 2 hens. cow belly deep in pond.
14:30, 90F at back door in sun. roast beef sandwich for lunch. funnies were amusing. sheep in the yard. guardian somewhere in the back by cactus field. dixie comes out from under house to say hello to sheep. sheep know dixie. pear tree shedding leaves. not many acorns dropping.
19:05, 78F, sunny. sheep in fold. guardian under truck. got no eggs. orange and purple sunset.
20:30, 76F, foggy. brighter stars showing. good night.
