07:05, 74F, overcast,dripping, foggy. rained last night. clouds hide sunrise. light seeps into the landscape. roosters crowing. guardian waiting to enter yard. pup takes long walk down lane. so far, 1" of rain has slowly fallen on the farm since early sunday morning. radar shows rain to south and out west in the gulf.
10:30, mid tide falling at CK. 2 spoonbills, 2 egrets, and 1 brown pelican standing on oyster bar. SW wind, 10 knts. 80F. a mist. cloudy.
fed cat. washed new bait seine. patches of blue sky. some sun. bait seine mostly dry. no mending needed. got packed up and stored in shed. finished mending bag of big seine just before rain begins at 15:00. tomorrow the trawls get sorted out.
14:00, mid tide rising at #4 bridge. great egret in spartina. dark sky to north and east. SW wind, 8 knts. 81F, overcast.
14:50, 80F, rained at the farm, 1.0". soaked guardian waiting at gate. sheep out in pasture. overcast. quick walk with pup before rain begins. guardian under truck..
19:10, 79F. overcast, mostly. some clearing. got 2 eggs. pup spots deer at far end of donkey woodlot. pup gets reined in. slight breeze from north. rain out in the gulf.
21:00, 77F, clearing above, foggy below. misty stars. ambiant light. pup spots armadillo in lane. oh boy..
