06:10, 72F, overcast. waning gibbous moon peers out from behind clouds. rained last night and this morning, 0.25" in dog bowl under a tree. woke up roosters. strange odor in walk down lane with pup. very dark out. damp guardian sleeping in big hole in sheep fold. woke up and came into yard. noticed yesterday that dog fennel beginning to bud. pecans dropping. beauty berry beautifully purple. hoping for more rain and maybe a little cool-off.
08:40, mid-tide falling at CK. flock of snowy egrets fishing in tide pool. 1 spoonbill on distant oyster bar. south wind, 7 knts. 78F, overcast, slight drizzle. church was good. I rang the bell and served the wine! the sermon was on helping those in need.
11:40, real low tide at #4 bridge. small flock of spoonbills with 1 egret in a tide pool. osprey with mullet. Sw wind, 6 knts. 80F. overcast. light rain.
18:30, 77F, overcast, a drizzle. got 1 egg. 3 deer in donkey woodlot. drizzled/rained all day. probably got a half inch. CK and the scrub got 3.0" of rain last night.
20:20, 76F, foggy, a mist/drizzle. overcast and dark. guardian in sheep fold. pup snoring on couch.
