06:30, 73F, partly cloudy. sun's up. roosters crowing. walked pup and old russell. guardian at back door. another day. ate 2 breakfasts.
11:00, high tide rising at CK. 81F, south wind, 10 knts. herons and egrets in marsh.
fed cat. washed bait seine. washed a trawl. found a very large hole in trawl. good day for drying nets. hot and sunny. south breeze does not reach the boatyard. plotted july's sites on map of our universe.
15:10, high tide falling at #4 bridge. west wind, 6 knts. 84F. heading for cowtown for feed and hay. brief shower along the way on 345. corn is as high as a brahma bull's eye.
17:10, 85F at back door. guardian met me at gate and escorted me to hay barn. unloaded 2 bales of mediocre hay and feed. pup, who spent day in dog pen, was glad to see me. sunny and sweaty.
19:40, 82F, clouding up. thunder all around. got 3 eggs. put sheep hay in barn just in case.
21:30, 80F. lightning to south, east, and north. guardian dashing all around barking and gettin pup stirred up. dragged her inside after she peed. no rain here. no moon either. spiders all out doing their thing.
