06:50, 58F, some fog. roosters crowing. songbirds carrying on. pup on tether. no one at back door. (?) caught 1 mouse. got 2 eggs yesterday evening. lamb bottles heating up. I'm only giving half a bottle now. should have them weaned in a few weeks. I always feel guilty about weaning lambs but cheap milk replacer costs $25/bucket.. not going to make much on these 2 lambs if I sell them..
11:00. low tide at CK. 71F, SW wind, 5 knts. herons hunting. sunny.
cat locked up in pelican cage to keep him safe from pre-schoolers on field trip. sanded measuring board. mended another 100 ft. of the big seine. school bus leaves, cat freed and fed. mended bait seine. cat helped. great west breeze in afternoon.
16:00, high tide at #4 bridge. 76F, west wind, 10 knts. scaups diving in back creeks and along causeway.
17:10, 83F at back door. sunny. guardian met me at gate. got 1 egg.
21:20, 72F, clouding up. waxing full moon in SW sky. missed moon rise. rats.
