07:20, 56F, clear. roosters crowing. guardian and dixie at back door. pup out and getting into trouble. dixie will have no part in pup's early morning exuberance. guardian to the rescue. all dogs got yelled at. pup on tether. slight north breeze. donkeys hooting. lamb bottles heating up. scrambled eggs.
10:10. twin fawns flitting across back yard.
11:00, high tide at CK. some ducks. cormorants on oyster bar. brown pelicans. 68F, NE wind, 12-15 knts.
fed cat. finished mending #2 otter trawl. a lot of rips in the sleeve of the cod end, mostly from stingrays. pleasant in boat yard. good breeze. a light chop.
16:30, 75F, SE wind, 5 knts. low tide falling at #4 bridge. stilts and willets out on mud flats. sunny but looks dark to west.
19:00, 75F, east breeze. sunny. got 3 eggs. kept a sharp eye on pup in case fawns were still around. pileated woodpecker by hay barn.
21:20, 65F, clear. waxing gibbous moon has spectral ring. hazy but some stars. guardian barking.
