06:50, 44F, clear. roosters crowing since 5:00. dixie at back door. pup out, found the rest of the outside dogs. scrambled eggs for breakfast. everyone got eggs, except the cat. lamb bottles heating up.
11:00, low tide rising at CK. 60F, east wind, 2 knts. partly cloudy, sunny. sandpipers on mud flats. ducks, pelicans and cormorants on oyster bar. great horned owl sitting in pine by ex-osprey nest.
fed cat. washed 2 bait seines. mended one. began perusing old 600 ft. seine for tears.
16:10, high tide at #4 bridge. 69F. SW wind, 5 knts. ducks in the shallows. red-shouldered hawk flies low across the road.
17:50, 67F, got 2 eggs. wash was dry. partly cloudy, sunny. turkey chili for supper.
20:30, 62F, a mist. waxing gibbous moon hazy with small pastel ring. jupiter bright to the west. orion above the farm. guardian barking in back.
