06:40, 55F, clear. a few stars showing. roosters crowing. dixie at back door. let pup out and back in again. lamb bottles heating up. pretty out.
10:30, 74F, clear and sunny. heading for cowtown for supplies. hay at feedstore was brown and dry so I passed.
15:20, 75F. got 2 eggs.
18:10, 67F, clear. finished chores. waxing crescent moon over the horse barn. jupiter brightest "star." spectacular orange florida sunset earlier.
19:30, 64F, a fog. and smoke from the bon fire in the neighbor's field to the south. moon a peach color. dogs all quiet.
