07:20, 65F, overcast. heavy rain passed over earlier in the morning. left behind about a half inch. roosters awake and dry. guard dog damp. lamb bottles heating up. quick walk with the young dogs. heading for the barn.
08:50, 64F, overcast and damp. colder rooms in the house have windows fogged up. fed lambs. all quiet in barn. donkeys waiting for hay. yellow dogs under the house. they don't like thunder.
13:10, 74F, in the weak sun at the back door. sheets hung out. hoping for the best. biscuits for lunch. cat bird and gold finches at bird feeder.
17:30, 54F, chilly breeze from west. building a fire with whatever I can pick up that's kinda dry. the sheets are still damp. rats.
19:50, 52F. wimpy fire with damp kindling. golden almost full moon rising in the east. fog. a few faint stars.
