06:00, 53F, very foggy. waning gibbous moon high in the sky. roosters crowing. dixie at back door. pups out playing. heating up a bottle. bacon for breakfast.
10:30, low tide turning at CK. ducks in the channel. 67F, east wind, 5 knts. sunny. cat sleeping in my net mending chair. other net mender working on the 10' by 10' by 10' bag, constructed of heavy duty twine. finished bag by mid-afternoon. white pelicans spread out along the flooding oyster bars behind scale key.
16:00, calm. 75F. high tide in CK. ducks dabbling in the flooded mud flats. flat water at the sand spit.
15:30, upper 60's at the farm. partly cloudy, mostly cirrus. got 2 eggs. lambs finished bottle quickly. a lot of running around in the bushes and barking from young dogs.
19:50, 63F, fog... stars out in haze. guard dog inside per her request. yellow dogs barking.
