30, 55F, overcast, sprinkling. yellow dogs in the palmettos. guard dog waiting to get into the yard. pup howling in mud porch.. roosters crowing. ham and poached egg for breakfast.
05, 57F, north breeze, overcast. not much rain but hoping the rye seed took note of the damp.
dogs had a good romp. time for a nap. more yard work today and hope to get rest of rye sowed.
30, 66F, overcast, damp. northerly breeze. alot of oak trash in front yard. resurected the burn pit. palmetto fans weren't safe in the breeze but made a dent in the oak trash. did put aside some stuff for the firplace.
20, 67F, mostly cloudy. put dogs in pen and let sheep in the yard. burn pit smoldered through the afternoon. sheep chowed down on potato vine and acorns, plus some lawn, some newly sprouted rye grass, with a side helping of spanish needles (?).
10, clouds clearing. waxing crescent moon above palmettos in the SW. lovely.
30, 61F, partly cloudy. moon. guard dog with sheep. pup sleeping in the kitchen.
