06:30 EST, 62F, foggy. poor old reddog refused to take his pills for the past few days and can barely move. so I wrestled him down and got a pill into him. will have to start hiding them in cream cheese. he has arthritis. yellow dogs at back door. locked up bruiser who was behaving in an unseemly way with the little pup. guard dog in yard. roosters crowing. crows calling. lovely out in the fog. sheep in the woodlot gleaning acorns. need to let them in the yard, which is full of acorns. really need to get that rye grass sowed.. 2 deer in cactus field fog.
09:00, low tide rising at CK with the usual herons and egrets hunting/fishing. 65F, south winds, 5 knts. partly cloudy. church was good with a good sermon on the commandments and little blueberry muffins afterwards.
10:50, tide coming in at #4 bridge. got some shrimp from the shrimp man's niece. pelicans at #3 bridge and a cormorant. heading home with the hogtown sun and the ny times..
14:20, 89F in the sun, mostly cloudy. forgot my hay appointment. just got busy in the yard and forgot. oldtimers disease. sowed rye seed in the front of the house and in the kitchen yard. and under the citrus. still more than half a bag of rye seed left. the next few buckets go out to the sheep field.
18:40, 69F, overcast, dark. EST ..
