06:40, 63F, mostly cloudy. rain out in the gulf. roosters up, yellow dogs at back door. going out to bring young dogs in for breakfast. ham and egg.. but not for them. they get kibble.
11:00, very low tide at CK, everything exposed. a few egrets. 68F, NE wind, 5 knts. not enough to discourage the no-see-ums. rain out in the gulf moved south. overcast. stored washed, dried, mended old bait sein. worked on the 600' seine. lots of mullet escape holes. got up to the turn..
15:40, high tide at #4 bridge with flying cormorants. the tide came in fast.
17:30, 75F at back door. deer browsing in the cactus field. dog fennel's blooming. sez, 'frost before thanksgiving..'
20:00, 70F, overcast. stars faintly showing. moon obscured. a mist.
