07:50, 71F, calm. everyone up. yellow dogs under pear tree. keeps the squirrels out. crows calling..
11:20, 88F at back door, 81F at front door under the porch roof. (sometimes the thermometers agree, so thinking there's poor circulation in the front.)
nice walk with dogs. the sun's track is far enough to the north so that the lane(running east-west with tall pines and cedars on either side.) is in shade now. a pleasant walk. donkeys are complaining so will go fork out some hay. I understand that a few hay farmers who irrigated have done a cutting. no telling what the prices are ...
13:40, 87F in front, 95F, at back door. sunny, hardly a breeze. everyone glad to get their hay and relax in the barn. I took my socks off and turned the ceiling fans on..
15:20, 90F in front. 98F in back in the sun. mostly cloudy, sun comes and goes. periods of calm, then NNE wind with gusts. buzzards are soaring way high up. clouds moving to SW in fits and starts. pleasant in the shade when the breeze moves in. got 2 eggs. cleaned mud porch.
17:00. went to feed store in cow town. hot. cows along the way were looking for shade.
18:15, 91F, calm. overcast. unloaded feed. over-fed everyone. got 1 egg. pizza for supper.
22:00, 79F by back door. 80F at the front under the porch roof. calm. waxing crescent moon setting. a haze.
