06:40, 47F, calm, a mist. stars fading. woke up rooster. oatmeal for breakfast. birds vocal.
the starter was bad on the truck. so it got hit with a hammer, the truck started, and I got to CK. had a new starter put in. expensive.
tides lowish at 10:00. ducks. breezy. worked on the trawl. breeze died down. mosquitos showed up around 15:00 and drove me upstairs. those little mosquitos that sneak up on you.
16:00 picked up truck, paid bill, headed home. pleasant ride through a "winter" forest - gray, bare trees, flaming maples, hollys still loaded with berries.
17:30, 70F, overcast to mostly cloudy. got 2 eggs. fed everybody.
19:05, 63F, mostly cloudy, waxing half moon being covered and uncovered.. ring around the moon when it appears. still.
