07:30, 43F, foggy. everyone up but me. blueberry muffin for breakfast.
buzzards out in the cactus field. after 13 years of plodding back and forth to the pasture with a lamb following behind, tuna will fly the skies.
15:10, 66F on open south porch, 72F on west facing thermometer by the back door. BLUE sky, sunny, breeze from NE. robins still around. lots of buzzards circling up there with the crescent moon, pale in that blue sky, plus one red-tailed hawk who joined the buzzards' circle for awhile.
fixed 2 fences, made a stew, did 2 washes, mopped half of the kitchen floor. taking a break.
18:00, 61F, calm. got 2 eggs. stew for supper. finished the chores. took wash in.
20:20, 53F, waxing crescent moon, venus, and jupiter putting on a show. lovely evening. fire going. just started b. cornwell's new novel, death of kings, part 6 of the saxon tales series. slow starting but I'm sure it will heat up.
