Right now in North Texas there is a definite arctic chill in the air. While the temp today reached into the low forties, the air held an iciness that one could feel wrapping around their arms and faces and applying a slight bit of pressure.
Tonight the low is forecast to be around 27 with a NE wind between 10 - 15 mph, with possibility of sleet/light ice. Whether we receive any precipitation of the frozen variety or not, the icy fingers of this blast of arctic air will still have this area in it's grip for a few more days, with tomorrows high again in the low forties and tomorrow nights low in the mid twenties.
