March Snow for Texas

We received quite a sleet/snow/ice storm over the weekend. It came down very heavy at times, accompanied by a lot of thunder and lightning!
It wasn't really like snow, because it was rock hard. You could "skate" across it but not make a snowball or snowman.

Snow on Christmas Day in East Texas

By: leighgraphix1965, 3:46 PM GMT on December 26, 2012

We were so fortunate to receive a "White Christmas" in East Texas! This doesn't happen very often, so it was a real treat to see the huge snow flakes begin to come down.

It snowed steady from about 3:30 in the afternoon until well after dark. We guess that at our location we received between 2 and 3 inches.

Lost in the shuffle

I was so hoping that this photo would get more notice. But it moved through and out of the "outdoors" gallery pretty fast. Guess there were lots of folks posting photos. I wish I could get one more rating just so I can see what those that did see it thought.Oh well, guess I got to keep trying and maybe I'll get an AC one of these days.Hope you all enjoyed it anyway.

No success yet. An autofocus lens would sure help my weary eyes out a lot.And eventually I'd like to s...
