...except here. A low pressure system brought daily rain showers over the general area, but their scattered nature kept them from giving my garden any more than 0.2" of precious rain.
There was actually a large system moving my direction earlier today, only to scoot southwest as I watched in agony on radar. There's something about rain that I just love, and unfortunately in Texas we just don't get a lot of it.

The past week has been much more summer like than most of June, with clear skies providing plenty of sunshine and heat for my summer garden. For several weeks in early June I had no need to run my hose, but this past week's sunny days sure have taxed my plants.
