Midwest Storms Sunday?

April 3:

Will probably post alerts here today since this event looks to be south of MN Tornado's coverage area. They had a bad enough winter, we'll let him rest, lol.

April 2: Cubs win!
Looks like we may get into the mix of Spring storms tomorrow evening/night. If you have not readied your Noaa radio or have not set up your alerts, this would be a good time to do so.

April 1st!!! Happy April Fools Day! Kind of fitting Cubs Home Opener is on this day. But, maybe, maybe this year???..ha hahaha! April Fools!

We should be warm by the weekend but we need to get through tomorrow. Opening day for 'Da Cubbies will be cold and dreary. Chance of some mixed when we get going in the morning, then changing to light rain. Cold, but tolerable. We may get up to 50-60 by Sunday and then hello rain again, but we'll see. We could also have some thunder tomorrow and again as it warms up. But nothing like what they had down South. Happy April All!

March 26: Back from vacation. My vacation post is below in the comments.
I do know it is windy and cold here in Northern IL. We seem to have some storms coming in, and they seem to be going south for some reason.
However, we will watch, because it is not unusual to have an April storm here in Chi.

However, if we listen to mother nature, when I got home there were bulbs popping all over the home front...I couldn't believe how much had changed in 8 days of being gone on vacation, so Spring is on its way! The crocus and bulbs tell me so! Enjoy the transition. It may be rough, but we'll get through with the hope of new life! I'll post more content on the weather later... :)
