GOLF AGAIN

By: joealaska , 1:50 AM GMT on October 17, 2012

The first full day in Albuquerque went very well. Golf at Paako Ridge near where Casa lives. The weather was perfect, sunny and breezy. Windy at the end. Had a great time. The golf was terrible. Casa won the first half, I won the second. Still waiting for a damage assessment later tonight.

Currently waiting for CASA’s world famous apple juice ribs.

Tomorrow we head north past Santa Fe to play Black Mesa, a well respected course. Probably an all day sucker, dinner on the way back somewhere. Weather should be perfect.

Wednesday the road trip begins.

EXCELLENT CALL Cholla. We passed just south of Payson and I got some pictures as we passed by. There were a couple small fires visible from 47,000 feet.

Since Joe isn't sending photos of Dutch, I'll send one taken of volcano Makushin at 10:04 am this morning, though I am not sure it will stay at that time!

I read UK's post and didn't get it - that's what happens when those cobwebs start to stick! I'm glad someone's keeping up with him and keeping him straight!

I haven't been following, still puter problems till I get a new one. Fat chance right now.

You already been to Payson? Yup wild fire just east of Payson by the fish hatchery. Sad beautiful place.

Have a great vacation! Love hearing about it and seeing the pictures.

Now, this is just a friendly suggestion, but if I were you I'd consider altering plans just a little and playing golf at Black Mesa on Wednesday with Casa before starting the road trip the next day.

That would be so much easier than doing Wednesday twice.

Cocktail hour can be so relaxing can't it...
