Famer's Market 4-7pm

By: jitterymoose , 3:46 PM GMT on August 19, 2008

Hm... I wrote out an entry, hit "post" and it disappeared. Oh, well. New photos on the blog (Alaska this time), and if you're in Rawlins, don't forget to visit the Farmer's Market from 4-7pm this afternoon. It should be lots of fun.

Off to register the kidlets for school. It should be interesting. They get to go swimming today from 1-4 (luckies), so it looks like another busy day. It's on its way to 86┬░F this afternoon, but it doesn't look like there's any rain in the forecast for awhile. :-)

Hope everyone has a great day! Enjoy the pics! JM

Thanks for the nice pictures along the Richardson highway. They brought back fond memories.
Would your insomnia have anything to do with an offer from Valdez?? Just wondering.

Wow... I had a lady come up to me at the Farmer's Market today. She's from California and she said "Oh! I knew you'd be here! I really enjoy your blog!" Heavens above! That was really neat!

Big decision tonight. I don't think I'm gonna sleep much..... :-)

Have a nice one! JM

No word yet, but it's through the University system, so I'm betting they have to go through HR in either Anchorage or Fairbanks before they can make the call. That's okay. It's still really busy here. I just got the kids dropped off at the swimming pool (and the dog walked at the same time, so now Kate's in the doghouse asleep), and we checked out their new school this morning. It looks like a nice place. The 5th graders (my son's in 5th this year) are out in modulars about 50' from the main building. We were teasing him about how they have to keep the "stinky fifth graders" away from the rest of the school. :-) They're both psyched to start, though. They're playing in the pool afternoons this week, but can't wait to get back into (at least) the social scene at school. The boy should be starting football next week, too, so it'll get REALLY busy. I'm going on like nothing in particular is going to happen.
:-) We'll see. Gotta haul stuff over to the Farmer's Market and drop a package off at the post office (an online order! hooray!) Take Care! JM
