Local:So update, it's HOT down here in south Louisiana today. Starting to get up to near 90°F and I fear that's the trend we will be stuck in from here on out! It's funny because all you have to do is go 4 hours north to Shreveport, LA and it's about 30°F cooler. They are enjoying 61°F temps right now.Tropical:Of course it's all getting started now. The tropics are about to start putting on their annual show for us.Right now there is a L in the Gulf which some of ...

A fairly strong squall line is on it's way. Proceeding it is clouds, and this morning some showers with heavy fog.So in comparison to yesterday which was BE-A-UTIFUL...today is (in the words of a humorous co-worker) "not so much".Hopefully once the line of thunderstorms passes we can get some rays of sunshine. That's mostly the case. After the front it clears out nicely. One thing that can be said for the south is that our winter is relatively half and half. Half clo...

The morning started off with cloud's but those have given away to some very clear sky's!Temps are in the upper 50's and should remain so for the rest of the afternoon.Does anyone see a pattern here? Storms yesterday, clear today, storms tomorrow morning, clear Saturday, storms again on Sunday, and then clear Monday with a high near 70°F and then Tuesday clear with highs in the upper 50's and Wednesday highs in the upper 40's!!I tell ya we just do not get a break he...
