End of Hurricane season, start of Prep season

By: hcubed, 2:08 PM GMT on December 01, 2009

With the end of the "official" hurricane season, one needs to start the prep for the next.

Be warned, though, that late-season hurricanes and storms have shown up before, so keep an eye out.

So the next entries will be about one person's prep - vehicle, supplies, etc.

Bottom line, and the basis for MY prep is as follows: If at all possible, get out of town. Moving to a shelter, if sturdy and well-run is next. Staying in your house is not recommended.

So my prep starts with the vehicle. In my case, a minivan.
