An area of low pressure will move slowly across the northern half of Europe on Sunday, while an Atlantic system affects portions of western Europe.
An area of low pressure will inch across Germany and Denmark. This system will usher light to moderate precipitation over a handful of countries, including southeast Norway, Sweden, western Estonia, western Latvia, Lithuania, Denmark, eastern Wales, eastern England, Belgium, Luxembourg, southwest Germany, France. Moderate precipitation and embedded thunderstorms will be possible across northern Italy and Austria. Venice, Italy, will experience stormy weather starting in the late morning with a high of 51(F)/ 10(C). Copenhagen, Denmark, can expect morning and afternoon rain, as well as evening snow with a high of 37(F)/ 2(C). A cold frontal boundary associated with this system will generate moderate to heavy rain and high elevation snow in eastern Slovakia, eastern Hungary, western Romania, northern Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, northwest Albania and southern Italy. Podgorica, Montenegro, is forecast to receive between 80 to 90 millimeters of rain with a high of 55(F)/ 12(C).
Additionally, an Atlantic frontal system will initiate light to moderate rain across parts of Ireland, western France, Portugal and Spain. Cork, Ireland, will experience afternoon and evening showers with a high of 42(F)/ 5(C).
