A low pressure system will bring impacts to the southern tier of Europe on Saturday, while a weaker system retrogrades over northeast Europe.
An area of low pressure will move in an east northeastward trajectory from northern France to northeast Germany. This system will generate strong winds and moderate to heavy precipitation across parts of northern Spain, southeast France, Switzerland, northern Italy and the northwestern corner of the Balkan Peninsula. Milan, Italy, is forecast to receive between 25 to 30 millimeters of rain with a high of 41(F)/ 5(C). Geneva, Switzerland, will experience a mixture of rain and snow with a high of 40(F)/ 4(C). Additionally, mixed precipitation will be possible across portions of northern France, Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom and Ireland. Paris, France, can expect light, intermittent showers on Saturday with a high of 47(F)/ 8(C). London, United Kingdom, will experience similar weather conditions with a high of 45(F)/ 7(C).
Meanwhile, a weak area of low pressure will drift north northwestward over northeast Europe. This system will produce light precipitation in eastern Belarus, eastern Latvia, eastern Estonia and eastern Finland. There will also be chances of light to moderate snow showers over parts of Norway and Sweden.
