An unstable and moist atmosphere awaits the arrival of a weak upper-level trough, which will trigger thunderstorms this afternoon. Thunderstorms could appear anywhere in Spain, and some could be severe with hail or heavy rains (a thunderstorm complex is already striking the area of the Strait). Flooding does not appear to be a significant threat at this time, although urban and street flooding is a possibility if a storm sits over a city for a time.
