Well, it appears the concerns I had been voicing concerning snow development came true. Most did not see snow. If only I had heeded my own concerns ... The low was too weak, too fast and the temps were not allowed to drop due to an easterly wind. But this is the life of forecasting snow in the mid-Atlantic in November. The forecasts become easier to define in Jan and Feb when the ground is frozen and arctic air present. I am not saying this as an excuse, just noting that this time of the year, if the conditions are not all aligned, snow won't happen. As we witnessed today. Those in Western MD and S PA did see the snow though.
