snow potential in Maryland

By: cws6196 , 3:10 PM GMT on November 21, 2012

This is not an easy time of the year to forecast. At this time of the year the atmosphere is in flux as the seasons change. This week the temps and conditions are quite nice, but later Friday those temps will decrease and on Saturday we could see strong winds making it feel even colder.

I think any snow chance this weekend is gone, but I am still looking at the "chance" for some snow mid next week. As this potential event is a week away details are not possible. Some models show a storm to our west and others show it along the coast. In either scenerio some snow is possible. I am not saying this will be a blizzard, just saying snow could happen.

Unless things drastically change I won't have another update until this weekend when more consistency in the data should be apparent. Follow me on Twitter (@wxmanmd) for weather updates and info.
