Friday will be a hot one even though the temps will not cross 100, the dewpoints, or moisture in the air, will be high making it feel as if it were 105. If you are outside slow down and drink plenty of fluids.
The heat and an upper level disturbance will create some instability in the atmosphere allowing for storms to form. Any storms which do form will be scattered yet intense. Most (not all) storm activity, if it does happen, will be in Southern MD. If a storm is near you the main threat will be wind and hail. Keep an eye on the sky Fri afternoon/evening.
Follow me daily on Twitter (@wxmanmd) and my Weather Phone will be updated as needed ( 443-470-9804).
