Well, here we go again. The warm weather lasted into this month but was relatively short lived. It has since been replaced by cold weather, and yes, snow. The dreaded snow. So far it has only been flurries, nothing significant enough to accumulate. The cold has come in full force, with temperatures already getting below freezing (mostly at night for now) and wind chills in the teens.
I hate the cold. I always have to bundle up to go outside and even then it is highly uncomfortable. Being cold is no fun. :( I do tolerate winter during the holiday season, but I wouldn't consider this the holiday season since it is still October. Which is another reason that winter should not be here yet. ONLY October. Every time I walk outside, it makes me think it is the holiday season, when in reality, we haven't even gotten to Halloween yet. Lame.
And also, the heater in my apartment is broken. It only blows cold air. How ridiculous is that?! The common area isn't so bad, but my room is FREEZING. It only gets up to 66 degrees (on a good day) but has gotten as low as the 50's. It is miserable. I hope someone is able to fix it, otherwise it is going to be one long winter...
Hopefully we will get a few halfway decent days here before winter officially starts. That'd be wonderful.
