I live right in the middle of the lower peninsula of Michigan. Our Great Lakes protect us from much of the extreme weather in other states.

We received a llittle wet snow yesterday morning but it seemed to melt right away. We have sun once again this morning with mostly clear skies and that makes for a very cheery landscape. One local meteorologist is warning that we have another significant snow event coming which could drop up to 5 inches of snow early next week. Oh no! The good part is that temps will be in the mid to upper 40s following that, so what we get will melt right away as well as most of what is on the ground at this time. There is even rain in the forecast which really sounds good although it will make for very messy conditions.
Right now (9:30 AM EST), our temp is 10°F, the humidity is 42%, and winds are from the northwest at 10 mph. The dew point is -1°F and the pressure is 29.99 inches and rising. Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday's high was 28°F and the low was 21°F. It will be significantly cooler today. Sunrise was at 7:34 AM and sunset will be at 6:07 PM.
Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 19. Wind chill values as low as -1. West wind around 8 mph.

Sunday: Snow likely before 11am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 21. Calm wind becoming north around 6 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 4. Calm wind.
Washington's Birthday: Snow after 3pm. High near 23. Light southeast wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
