I live right in the middle of the lower peninsula of Michigan. Our Great Lakes protect us from much of the extreme weather in other states.

Our Saturday, with them giving us only a 30% chance of rain, turned out to be quite wet with intermittent showers all day long. We didn't see much sun if any, and when it rained, it came down quite hard. There was 0.23" in my gauge this morning but at least it was enough that I didn't have to water my flowers. The temps this week wiLL again be teetering up and down with Tuesday's expected high in the mid 90s. This constant fluctuation in our temps is what is bringing all the rain and more is expected throughout the week. We can normally expect this in September but the whole summer has been this way. One has to wonder just what we'll get this winter. If the precip continues as it has, we will be buried in snow.
