I live right in the middle of the lower peninsula of Michigan. Our Great Lakes protect us from much of the extreme weather in other states.

Today really seems like a March day with rain, clouds and wind. It isn't very nice for being outdoors but after what we have had, 40 degree temps seem balmy indeed. We continue to lose a little snow each day and even much of the ice on ponds and lakes. There was 0.17 inches of rain in my gauge this morning and light rain has continued since then. The sun has peeked out once but has since disappeared again. I don't have much hope for seeing many rays today. But at least it isn't snowing.

With the position of the sun, our day does have a look of spring to it, but unfortunately the temps aren't following. We are still far below where we should be for early March but it feels quite nice in the sunny areas. The sun is warm enough that it is melting some of the snow in spite of below-freezing temps. If we didn't have so many icy spots on the road, I'd venture out for a walk this afternoon. Hopefully, I'll be able to do that soon.
Right now (1:45 PM EST), our temp is 30°F, winds are from the ENE at 4 mph gusting to 6 mph, and skies are perfectly clear. The humidity is 25% and the dew point is 1°F. The pressure is 30.34 inches and steady. Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday's high was 23°F and the low was 7°F. The record high is 67°F (2009) and the record low is -7°F (1960). Normals are 39°F / 21°F.
Plentiful sunshine. High 29F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph.
Mainly clear. Low 12F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph.
Partly cloudy. High 41F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.
Overcast. Low 29F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.
Cloudy. High around 30F. Winds N at 10 to 15 mph.
A few clouds from time to time. Low 13F. Winds light and variable.
Partly cloudy skies in the morning will give way to cloudy skies during the afternoon. High 37F. Winds SW at 10 to 20 mph.
HAVE A GREAT DAY!
