Well it's now February here in Georgia. It's a time when we can see all four seasons in a matter of days.
Here's an example of the wild ride we've had in the last week:
On Tuesday, 01/28/14 were forecast to get snow (even my Acu-Rite weather station was forecasting it) late in the morning. Right on schedule at about 10:45 am it began snowing and it was long before the ground was covered completely with snow as well as the street. Here in Ch...

After the expected "learning period" for my Acu-Rite internet bridge, the pressure readings are in line with what the 5 in 1 sensor in the yard has been reporting. It would seem that all my uploads to both Acu-Link and Weather Underground are all accurate now.

The Acu-Rite internet bridge is learning and settling down with its barometric pressure readings and its forecasting. The internet bridge pressure reading is getting closer to the weather station base station everyday. The forecasting is moving along slower. It's still forecasts rain way too much. I may eventually have to go into the settings and calibrate the forecasting a bit.

I'm not patient. Since I got the internet bridge for Christmas to add to my existing weather station, the forecasting for the 4, 4-8 and 8-12 hours has often shown snow or a high probability of precipitation. There has been no rain or forecast of rain since I installed it. I know this is because the bridge is still calibrating over the next 2 weeks. I know I can go into the setting and calibrate the forecasting but I'm trying to wait until the self calibration i...

I've had a weather station for number of years. It was and adequate unit that showed temperature, barometric pressure, humidity and wind speed and gusts (but not direction). This past summer it finally died. My wife got me an Acurite Pro Digital Station. It was a leap forward! The new Acurite does temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed and direction, wind chill and rain fall measurement. It does more but those are the most important. Then just...
