For such a small TS, this thing sure is causing problems. Power outages and lots of rain. You'd think it would have died out as soon as it hit land, but it hasn't--it's still a tropical storm. But I am thankful that all we got were some broken limbs, rain and wind. I'll take that for 2010.

Weirdest thing--I checked the radar here and I'm watching this line of thunderstorms move in as I look out my office window. Same line I am seeing on the radar--never really have seen the radar match up so perfectly to the view outside my window-getting hammered--but only for a short time, thank God because it's a beach day after work!

I am loving my new location and all the coastal birds there are in this little town.

http://corpusbeach.com/portacam2.htmIf you follow the link, you can see how high the tides are (I'm assuming from this little thingy out in the Gulf).Typically, you can see a LOT of the beach on this cam and right now it appears the tides are running pretty high.
