An easterly wave of low pressure will move across the Caribbean Sea on Saturday, bringing a chance of rain and thunderstorms to the Yucatan Peninsula. The remainder of Mexico will stay mostly clear of precipitation due to high pressure across the country. Cancun will have a slight chance of thunderstorms with a high of 83(F)/ 28(C), while Mexico City will be sunny with a high of 86(F)/ 30(C). Just to the south of Mexico, the previously mentioned easterly wave will bring a chance of wet weather to several Central American countries, including Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. Similar conditions can be expected across Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. Meanwhile, the tail end of a cold frontal boundary will usher showers and thunderstorms across The Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands.
