Weather Underground Forecast for Tuesday, July 15, 2014

Tropical cyclone development is not anticipated across the eastern Pacific or the Atlantic Basin on Tuesday. Monsoonal moisture will continue to initiate widespread rain and thunderstorms across Mexico. These thunderstorms will develop over the western half of Mexico, as well as southern and central Mexico. The northeastern corner of the country will stay mostly clear of wet weather due to high pressure over the region. Mexico City can expect afternoon and evening thunderstorms with a high of 73(F)/ 22(C). Cancun will be partly cloudy with a high of 89(F)/ 31(C). A cluster of monsoonal thunderstorms will also impact parts of Belize, Guatemala and El Salvador. An easterly wave of low pressure will drift across the Caribbean Sea, which will carry moisture across Central America. This moisture will aid in triggering showers and thunderstorms over Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Honduras. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will also be possible over the Greater Antilles.
