Weather Underground Forecast for Saturday, May 17, 2014
A trough of low pressure will bring a chance of scattered showers to the Sierra Madre Occidental range on Saturday, while the remainder of Mexico will stay mostly clear of precipitation. Mexico City will be partly cloudy with a high of 77(F)/ 25(C), while Cancun can expect similar conditions with a high of 83(F)/ 28(C). In Central America, the tail end of a cold frontal boundary will bring heavy rain and thunderstorms to Belize and Honduras, as well as scattered showers to Guatemala. This cold front will extend across the Caribbean Sea, as heavy rain and thunderstorms are also expected to push across Cuba and the Bahamas. Meanwhile, an easterly wave of moisture will usher stormy weather over Panama and parts of Costa Rica.
