Weather Underground Forecast for Thursday, April 24, 2014
A trough of low pressure will linger over central Mexico on Thursday. This system will continue to trigger widespread showers and thunderstorms across the country, as Mexico City will have a slight chance of afternoon and evening showers with a high of 79(F)/ 26(C). The Yucatan Peninsula will stay clear of wet weather due to high pressure over the Gulf of Mexico. Cancun will be sunny with a high of 86(F)/ 30(C). An area of low pressure is expected to develop along the coast of Guatemala. This system will usher rain and thunderstorms over several Central American countries, including Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. Meanwhile, heavy rain and thunderstorms will shift away from Venezuela and over Panama and Costa Rica.
