Pending...still way behind in my image processing and any daily updates. But all is well in NW Montana.
April 13, 2013 - Snow Squall
Interesting weather day again in NW Montana. This time-lapse was made using a combination of three web cams that take images at various intervals, or when motion is detected. The camera with the tree takes an image every minute. The video has the images from 9:00 AM until 10:25 AM. The camera that shows a view of the creek and trees takes an image every five minutes and images from 7:00 AM until 10:25 AM are included. The cloud camera is activated by motion and the images are from around 8:00 AM until about 9:30 AM. (That camera went out of service during the snow). The quick moving snow storm took place between about 9:45 AM until about 10:00 AM. I measured the snowfall just after the squall ended and 0.6" had accumulated on the deck. This is not unusual for NW Montana!
