Saturday was drizzley wet and cold. Few patrons but we had a good time. Sunday was sunny and cold, but Dale's wedding at sunset went very well with a fun reception.
This morning I had to scrape ice off my windshield. The forecast flier didn't get the low correctly.

Cloudy and Cold is perfect medieval fair weather. That is what is predicted for Saturday. As long as the wind holds off and it stays above freezing, it should be a great opening day.
This year I am a Raddish farmer named Rutabega who works for Robbin Hood.

It isn't 20 degrees anymore and the plants are back outside. The plants that stayed outside like ginger and hybiscus got frosted into mush. The sweet potatoes did too. "Stink Horn" mushrooms still keep popping up from the mulch. Yuck. Does anybody know if they are good for anything other than attracting flys?
Saw a great Shark exibit at the Natural History museaum yesterday. There are definitely some FUNKY prehistoric species.

IT IS COLD! here in Florida today. It is in the mid 20's and the air is dryish? How wierd is that?
I didn't notice much ice anywhere because things are jsut so dry.
Stay warm out there, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
So far between Gayle Smiths funeral tomorrow and my friends breaking up, on top of the hard freeze with a high of 40, this year of the rat is off to a rocky start. The holidays were great though.
