If you saw it, I do not need to explain.It happened at about 12:40am in Beaumont during a live broadcast.It was quite disturbing, but it did add a moment of levity and stupidity to an otherwise extremely serious situation.What is most disturbing was that i actually TIVO'd it. Yes i did say I was TIVO'ing TWC.

In 1980 there was an extremely dangerous and powerful Cape Verde hurricane by the name of Allen that threatened the Caribbean and Gulf coasts.Here is the track it followed : Allen's TrackDean currently has a good chance to follow a similar or slightly more southerly track.Check out the NHC archives Here for examples of how a major storm can affect the Texas coast and its interior.I was looking at Dean earlier and Allen just kind of popped into my mind.
